Our annual SBC-5K Peace Run, Walk, or Stroll is held at Olivet AME Church. Participants have an opportunity to run, walk, or stroll through the northeast neighborhood near the University of Notre Dame.

With a commitment to community and social ministry collaboration, two prominent culturally different church organizations in the city of South Bend, Olivet AME and Sunnyside Presbyterian, come together as one. This is an opportunity to bring together religious, social, and cultural differences to promote wellness and peace in all forms, and to give back to the community by supporting Heroes Camp.

Heroes Camp, an organization that helps young people by providing some basic needs in a clean, safe environment. Heroes Camp is a place where youth play basketball, lift weights, receive mentoring, shoes, clothing, deodorant, haircuts, and hot meals.
